Mrs. Yanping Lu is a well-known professional artist, computer graphic designer, and art educator based in Dublin, Ohio, USA. With a rich academic background and extensive professional experience, she has established herself as an important person in the art world.

Mrs. Lu holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in China, which she earned in 1987, and a Master of Educational Informatics (MEd) from Tohoku University in Japan, completed in 2005. Her professional journey began at the China Silk Import and Export Corporation, where she served as a professional art designer from 1987 to 1995. Her passion for art and design led her to Japan, where she was a visiting scholar in computer graphic design at Shiga University from 1998 to 2000, and later researched visual arts and design at Chiba University from 2000 to 2002. Between 2017 and 2021, she contributed her expertise as a part-time visiting professor at the School of Arts, Hubei University of Economics, and the School of Arts, Hubei Polytechnic University in China.

Currently, Mrs. Lu is a professional artist at Art2D3D Studio and an active member of the Ohio Arts Council and the Ohio Art League. Her artistic career is marked by numerous international and domestic group and solo exhibitions. She has also been a distinguished guest and judge at various art events and exhibitions in Ohio. Her unique oil paintings, particularly the acclaimed "Dynamic Woman" and "Dynamic Pet" series, are highly sought after and collected by art enthusiasts. She has also created the notable "Charm Symbols" series of oil paintings and has been invited to showcase her work at prestigious events such as ArtExpo New York 2024.

In addition to her achievements in art, Mrs. Lu is a principal and art educator at Art2D3D School. Her teaching excellence is evidenced by her students' remarkable achievements, having won over 500 national and international art competition awards as of 2024. These award-winning works have been exhibited in numerous domestic and international exhibitions. For five consecutive years, her students have gained admission to Ivy League universities in the United States with full scholarships, and many have been accepted into top 20 ranked universities. Her outstanding contributions to art education earned her the "Outstanding Teaching Achievement Award" in Ohio, and she was honored with a reception by the Governor and his wife.
